I just blew a mind down at our local country store. There was a K-12er who was wearing a tee-shirt that read: VZ: VonZipper I asked if he knew of the other VZ on the NYSE. He said no. I asked him if he knew of Bell Atlantic. He said "yes". I asked him if he knew of Ivan Seidenberg. He said no. His father intervened and asked if this was useful. I said only if we want to understand the world. He said nothing. I suggested that the kid get on the Internet and try to understand the Dingell-Tauzin bill supporting the VZ not mentioned on his tee-shirt: newnetworks.com Now I don't expect you to be honest and read this and responsibly agree. I expect you to be a jerk and tell me that I'm merely a know it all, for understanding that this bill is worth $5 Billion to Ivan over the next 8 years. I don't know it all.
