The "seeds of discord", IMO, are being planted by people whose real gripe is not that 7th graders are being indoctrinated to Islam, which they are not, but that ALL kids are NOT being indoctrinated to their (the gripers') own religious, social and political standards and beliefs. Their are murderers and "savages" in every religion, committing their dark and brutal deeds in the name of their religion. But if we don't teach both the good and the bad of all the major cultures and religions that make up our history, we can't learn from the successes and mistakes of them.
