Frederick , aside from all the religious cult mumbo-jumbo out of the much confused Bible of Old and new... Just where do you think all of this "divine" love light peace and illumination comes from ? There are 75,000 miles of nervous system in your body, and tuned and trained properly it can produce a Yeudhi Menuhin on violin , a Ravi Shankar on Sitar or a Susan Farrell one of the sweetest dancers I have ever seen from the New York City Ballet . Unearthly experiences of beauty, ecstacy and grace born from years of practice and training. How does this happen ? It happens because of 4 billion years of evolution and an incrediblly slow process of alteration , growth and change to body/nervousystem metamorphosis ...a terrifyingly long time , almost an eternity our minds cannot comprehend. Because Jesus Christ , if he did ever live ...and lived in the desert and ate locusts with John the baptist , and had his own visions and spoke to "God in Heaven ", what are the source of those visions ? It is the play of the elements of sensations upon the Tabla of his "mind". The exciting of neurons and firing of synapses as he gazed up at the stars or watched the Sunset , and the stream of impulses from the cones and light-sensitive receptors of his eyes. And he saw the world perhaps as it is and could be , but also limited by the tribe's way of viewing and times as well...and the tribe of Israel was in love with war and death as much as they were in love with God. So where do you think heaven is ? Those 75,000 miles of nervous system that compose each and evrey body of every person on earth , that could encircle the earth nearly 3 times if laid end to end , this miracle of creation which each and everyone of us truely is . The heightened experiences of conciousness , states of awarenes and beauty within can only be recieved from reading the bible or only first revealed by Jesus Christ or that he was the only one capable of sensations from something called the divine order of life or beyond? Please think again. The body/mind is a temple or an instrument , and a "window" of sensation upon the world . Properly tuned and trained it is capable of so much greater things than ordinarily it is used for . Of course there is no blame or shame game about this fact . Except what stems out of the cry of those that cling to their little limited cherished beliefs , and think the key is contained in a "book " so riddled with cult nonsense and fantasy . One may say " I have found a truth " , but not own it . To think that Jesus is the only Son of God , is insanity , and the cry that he is , is a war-cry and an insult. Sometimes I am led to think that Jesus was insane ....he surely was a "primitive" caught up in a delusional male-cult fantasy . No wonder Pontius Pilate washed his hands of it.<G>
