re: shelter vs. investment

Speaking as one who has been a Realtor in the past and still holds a broker's license (not as a Realtor member of NAR, however, which makes no difference except in how much I pay to *belong*)....

Any place you put huge amounts of money is an investment.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Sometimes you can make great amounts of money on this investment. Sometimes you break even. Always you get what you pay for--a place to live, or shelter--one of humankind's basic needs.

Now, is food an investment? Water? Clothing??? I dunno....but good clothes help you get better jobs which bring more $$$, sometimes. <<GG>>
