If everyone know the gain is from shorts covering and they can ride up for now but when the covering is finished then what? I can't see any buyers will stay around to see the selling ensue. Who would buy now?

So far I haven't heard that they banned them. They are just cracking down on certain illegal activities of some short sellers based on a recent article posted here. Nowhere did I read in the article that they banned short selling. If anyone has more details, please post a link.
