Re Japan attacking Shorts: The same thing happened here during the Great Depression. There were Congressional Hearings re possible Market manipulation by short sellers.

looks like it is near blow-out now.Up over 500points thus far today.That's now a 10% move in 5 trading days.
But what has it accomplished,the shorts are squeezed but the problems remain?
