Re Demographics: Actually, the demographic formula I use is negative for 2002 and somewhat for 2003, so I'm only expecting a moderate cyclical bull market based on a vigorous economic recovery. When demographics have been positive, the Market keeps rising even when interest rates start creeping up. This time, I think we'll have a sharp runup to a 5 to 7% annualized rate of growth, then an upward tick in short term rates will end the bull market or cause a serious correction.

I sold my Nasdaq position Friday, and am 75% in cash. Expecting at least one more downleg before the next good intermediate term rally starts somewhere between mid-March and mid-April. What's your current posture?
