wanna_bmw, how do you think chips get into the grey market? For the most part, they are sold there by OEMs who have excess stock for what ever reason. Now the idea that they would sell them for less than they pay for them might occur at times, but that would be extremely rare...

Grey market processors are by definition OEM processors. Since I doubt that an OEM would sell processors below the buying price (except if there was an inventory glut or the OEM really desperate) OEM probably pay a few percents below grey market prices for their processors. But I am also sure that the 1.6 GHz mobile P4 is a lot more expensive than the desktop part found at Pricewatch.
