Th uptick rule is grossly unfair and should be removed. In fact I believe they are in the process now.

The uptick rule for shorting makes about as much sense as only allowing buys on downticks.

I disagree. MM's don't need a downtick to short. Hidden rule to screw the retail.

Why not have a DOWNTICK rule to buy shares? That sure would have prevented the bubble.
