WR, I am about 15% gold stocks, the rest in cash. I will watch the gold price, if it gets above 300 and can stay there, I will pick up some more. Then if it breaks thru 320-325, I will get some more. And if NEM jumps up out of its 'handle' I will get some more, using the IBD stop loss of 8% if it drops back into the handle.

I like the gold story, while much of the rest of the market looks questionable. I don't like puts because they are too short term, and I don't like shorting because too much capital is exposed. As you say, bonds might tank if inflation appears (due to rapid money supply growth)...although inflation appears completely absent right now.
