Japan and Taiwan are closed and I'm heading to bed. They ought to outlaw datelining (after I retire that is) Some firms have added redemption fees but even that isn't much of a stumbling block on the right setups. Rydex and Profunds though do it so you can't dateline. And besides, lately I'm using datelining to add to positions, not as in and out trading.

Anyway, I bet I know your quiz about 86 and 87. I wrote in another venue about those years saying "Its accuracy in calling tops and bottoms was suspect during 1985, 1986, and much of 1987." Yes, sentiment got extremely high during those years and stayed there as the market kept going up.
I'll talk with you later in the day whenever I get up.
