And the purposes of trilobites, ammonites and dinosaurs were what? Cruelty? Incompetence?

Meanwhile, why the insistence by said designer on doing things in such a way as to precisely suggest gradual evolution, and at no greater speed than could be attributed to the complete absence of any designer?

Oh, BTW, were MS, Alzheimers and cancer designed in especially? How about childhood leukemia, addictive behaviour and arthritis?

Given that we - now - can think of advantages we don't have (self-cleansing telomeres come to mind) and blatant design flaws we do (see above), how come some intelligence around for billions of years can't do it? Or are you suggesting we've surpassed our creator?

Our creator has the power to do this? So why not take short cuts? (if it's bored, WTF was it doing for the first 3.5 billion years of the solar system alone, counting toes??). Why do things so badly?

What's its purpose? Oh, and who or what created it?

BTW, why not sign its work in ways more acceptable than the ravings of madmen or the delusions of dictators?

And - oh, why bother?

Neo, you're way too intelligent to be convincing on this.
Or, alternatively, don't assume that because you can't understand something that the divine must be behind it.
