Yet if you look at Rambus performance now, you see that it offers the best solution for the Pentium 4. You also see that the RIMM4200 standard offers much greater performance, even after the current solution. But unfortunately, it's too late, since the industry has already written off RDRAM. IMO, it's a good technology that was left to the wayside because of actions outside Intel's control. It's sort of the opposite of what Bill was saying.
