I agree. I think they need to shake the short tree one more day. As I said, I think 1880 is that number. I will most likely start layering some puts in today if we close at the highs.

A selloff tomorrow afternoon much more likely than a selloff today IMHO.

You might be right---today it looks unlikely to drop. The way the Nikei closed at the highs makes me believe that we will see the same on the US markets.
At least that is what the shorts may be thinking...and it may make the holders a bit more patient. In addition, those taking profits over there could be looking elsewhere to play the upside as well and that works for most global equities is how I see it.

Plus the seasonal money inflows are going to get put to work...and index buying at 3:30 sets the stage for a strong close.
