Sam - My nibbling was in AMAT, NVLS, LRCX. As for GTW JNPR SLR I am kind of stuck in at the moment. But I don't mind these will eventually move and I will rotate more money into these at that point.
...KEY POINT - the semi equips benefit from movement in any sector. Right now logic and DRAM seem to be providing the push.

...I am still neutral on the semi's. They are definitely doing better but I think that tech upgrades are going to keep a lid on the profit picture for awhile. They really need strong demand growth to start pushing ASPs.

I am somewhat encouraged about networking - I am seeing a lot of products coming out now aimed at the home network wired and wireless. Now that DSL and cable are making penetration I think a lot of homeowners are going to have to deal with sharing the connection among the household members. At $300 to set up a wireless network, I can see this market segment taking off sooner than expected.
...And I am expecting that when networking starts moving the ECMs will start coming to life as well.

As for recent activity - unfortunately the rally overwhelmed my senses and I started selling my semi-equips too early. I blame this post traumatic stress syndrome - last years pain has made me a bit too quick on the trigger.
...I have cleaned out the rest of my semi-eq today and will do some trial short/put positions tomorrow. Not too much as I don't like bucking the long term trend of the market.

PS - I am please that ELN has started showing life again. I expect that in May (shareholder's meeting) they will announce a stock buyback program which should repair some of the credibility damage. Likewise I also have a small position in BSX - a medical device company which has been thorugh some rough waters but is now emerging with better management.
...Again - my overall strategy is to be able to rotate money out as each of the segments pop up. This is because I think that the recovery over the next couple of years will be in fits and starts.
