I've seen a number of clever SIers get taken to the cleaners on the action in homebuilders. Who'd a thunk the stock would behave so "unusually" during a recession?

As a veteran tech stock afficionado, the stock splits ought to be manna from heaven for the short sellers. Reason? The rate of distribution ought to heat up nicely. By the end of summer, the newly minted longs will come to find that the record setting profits of these builders isn't part of the long ramp, but a high point in the cycle. IMVHO.

It's like they say about sitting down at the table for a round of poker. If ya can't spot the sucker in the first couple of hands....... it's you. <g>
