Jake Bernstein's indices of trader sentiment show varying degrees of overbought readings on the major indices. figures below represent % bullish traders:
S&P 80% 3dy, 78% 5dy, Nasdaq 73% 3dy, 72% 5dy;
Nikkei 86% 3dy, 80% 5dy, and a rare 95% for today's survey.

While all are overbought, the Nikkei is extremely so. There's a good chance your short position will prove fruitful over the next week or so.
