I was thinking about the Intel revenue and earnings projections for 1Q 2002, rather than the (expected) hype about the future. Even though AMD reaffirmed guidance a week or so back, I am not sure INTC will be able to do so.

The PC market has clearly been weak during 1Q, and my guess is that AMD has maintained its business by taking share from INTC. Anecdotally, people continue to switch to AMD processors because they're cheaper for a given performance point, and work every bit as well.
