You NEVER see a huge jump on OBV as the number represents a (usually 20d) moving average.

OBV is a valuable tool as it provides direction of stock movement, but its absolute value is of no consequence.

Doesn't look like you are too familiar with OBV or its use.

jjs - if the big shorts were throwign everything at it today to halt it and it still rallied so strongly I'd guess that the buying was stronger than your estimate.
