Steve, if you've been following along over in the Boom Boom Room the last few months, you may have noticed we have enjoyed quite a bit of success in this down market. With consistent success comes a quiet confidence level, a level that expects good things to happen and you're not surprised when they do. The excitement now is focused on picking stocks with impeccable timing and accuracy. Although we have our longer term holdings that have performed well today, the challenge is in picking a stock that turns up immediately for a major move of 20% or more. Hence the rhetoric about PGO. dabum

Some people would prefer not to mess with the highly volatile tech stocks. Can lose a lotta moolah in a hurry in todays market. After last year I have a newfound respect for the damage they can do. I also was caught with my pants down, sold most all my telecom equip on the final capitulation day. I thought the ARMS Index had failed and the NASDAQ was heading down further, was waiting for a VIX confirmation. I do recall reading one of Don Hays morning market comments. Hays indicates that the VIX will not always show up for a reversal to happen. Not that it is a bad indicator - the times that it does show up (>35-40) it has been money in the bank. Oh well, you and I can whoop it up on further strength. Warp
