Notes to Nadine:

Think strategically. Alexander did. Bibi is. EC will soon fall in line.

Can you imagine? Tommy Franks doesn't even have to fight the battle of Hydaspes. Porus is with us? Think - the Palestinians are Tyre. Heard the latest from Mubarak? Egypt is NO threat. The Turks? Totally dependant on financial guaranties from the west + millitary technology alliance with Israel + ------ oil - you figure it out ;o}.

My God!!!!!! US Troops in GEORGIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The US is the anvil to a Russian hammer?

Alexander would have given his left nut for our Navy. Never mind Air Force. 3d warfare. Whoa! Remember, Alexander replaced his officer corps on a regular basis (victory is everything). Many times enlisted also. Alexander fought and WON in Afghanistan with very mixed national elements. The Agranians (aka highly trained light infantry) were crucial.

My only question - will there even be a battle of Gaugamela? I guess only the Iranians can answer. :o}}}}}}}

I doubt very seriously the Iraqui army will put up much of a fight for a turd like Saddam. Once Iraq is secured, the EC almost becomes a farce. They will shift quickly with victory in Iraq.
