I'm living proof that not all conservatives are Falwell & Robertson sheep. The sad truth is, rich4eagle, that today's Democrats can't get it together long enough to show the international community that we will not be the world's whipping post. What happened during Carter's Adm?.....Iran took hostages & our feeble rescue attempt made us laughing stocks. During Clinton's tenure we were attacked 3 times by OBL & we did almost nothing in return. On the other hand, what happened during Pres Reagan's Adm?.....Berlin Wall fell, Gorbachev started to play nice because Reagan built up our military & Russia went broke trying to keep up; which caused the breadless Russian people to turn their backs on the United Soviet Socialist Republic. During Bush Sr. Adm., Desert Storm put the butcher of Bagdad in his place. I know, I know.....should have sent one of those smart bombs up his mustache...I agree with that. On the negative side, I'll admit Nixon should never have been President. Didn't have the right stuff. Greedy Wall Street is nothing to be proud of either......but while they're protecting their $$s, they are protecting our freedoms as well. Oil Companies need a push to develop alternative energy sources like Solar. Besides, the Repubs only have my vote as long as they keep their annoying radical right fundamentalists reined in.....if they ever unleash those control freaks.....I'm outta there:)
