Maurice, thanks for the summary on G*. It's quite likely that G* will never become popular for individuals but will find its markets in the news media, corporate communication in remote areas, emergency police and medical services, automotive direction finding and position location, and commercial aircraft monitoring to improve security. These activities require entirely different types of pricing than was available previously to individuals. I haven't seen any rush towards accommodating these new demands.

As for the role of Loral, it is now a failing company owing to the growing senility of its leader. I don't expect Loral to be much of a factor in getting G* up and running profitably. The best leverage over the company should come from the trustee for the bondholders. They stand almost first in line for ownership of the assets. I would look in this direction for any improvement in management quality and services delivered to customers.
