i think people prefer the broader range of perspective on this thread.

You are giving people a lot of credit.

Regardless of the amount of opposition available on that thread, anyone who is LTBH and doesnt read that thread is crazy. If you dont understand the fundamentals, you can just as easily get killed as you can ignoring the valuation.

that thread is like a G-rated movie--OK for the kiddies, but not much like real life.

You might have noticed a new liberal spirit at Q Moderated. Items which would not have passed muster before are being allowed without comment. It is an excellent board with lots of good posters, particularly on technical issues. Unlike Puck's essentially defunct Nokia moderated board, there is no suppression of views.
