Well, Allan, if we trust the Freepish Contra Indicator, the Dow is not gonna turn back up. I had a limit order in for some Dow puts RIGHT near the top. I saw that a block of my (somewhat odd) size went off at my price so I went to walk the dog. Had I checked closer, I woulda learned that it wasn't my block. Ooops. Now THAT woulda been a fine purchase (at least up til now. I also coulda held it for a loss).

On the less anecdotal side, the five day RSI of the Dow was exceedingly high after yesterday -- so high, in fact, that I can't recall the last time I'd seen such a reading. I'd think it needs a few days of breather, if nothing else. And if we do get back to the high today, I'll be a little less fine on my limit order <g>

Sold average cost 37.73, bought back at 37.17 this morn...freakin' software locked on the last slope...frantic call to broker saved the day...I was yelling at the guy, "do it, this thing's gonna turn"

Are you looking for a later-entry to short here? Gotta be a brother leg to that, even if that was just correction..

Berney on TV, stickin' w/bear market rally, "market priced for perfection, technicals are weak and weakening...have to get above 1300 SnP (long-term MA) to turn into bullish scenario in his opinion..."

Quoting Berstein "Highest P/E of all-time with lowest earning visibility in a long time"....Options cheap he says, historically-speaking...saying longs, if they don't want to give it up, should hedge buying puts (not selling calls, since premiums weak not)

DOW is into some air here. If RUMX is in a wiggle 3/c down we could pick up some speed.

Throw on an RLX breakdown and this thing could really get messy. But of course, we're a long way form Tipperary
