Consistency is apparently not an asset among analysts. It leads to fewer trades (and hence, lower bonuses).

Sounds like Milunovich is schizophrenic at times doesn't it? Reality: No one knows, perhaps not even SUNW since order flows sometimes come at the end of a quarter.
