UF, yes, I am a bear. What we saw in the late 90's was not a silly ol' bull market. It was the greatest speculative mania ever witnessed. And I am certain it will end badly -- very badly.

I am long right now with a small portion of my portfolio that I have kept aside for trading, but in a few days or weeks, I plan to book profits and hunker down.

Big declines followed by big rallies. Followed by big declines. That is how markets decline. That is how bear markets work. There is no point, and nothing to be gained, in over-intellectualizing the issues.
