Andrew, <What's AMD's laptop marketshare now? A bit more than "hardly any" I'd imagine.>

I hardly see any Athlon-based laptops in retail. The shelves are dominated by Intel-based laptops. Of course, AMD has a lot of potential to gain mobile market share this year, but it looks like they'll fumble the ball on this.

<Also, the P4-M is going to be relegated to the desktop replacement market. Do you think that the P4-M will cross-over with the PIII-M in units shipped this year?>

Who knows? Intel is projecting thin-n-light to be the highest growth segment in laptops. P4-M is not likely going to show up in that segment.

<Personally, I'd go with an Athlon4 based on PowerNow.>

Then your choices are slim, given how few design wins Athlon 4 has.

There are "hardly any" AthWiper 4s in the retail or other channels. So if you think that the market share is more than "hardly any" why don't you go find some numbers.

An AMDroid "imagine" just isn't reliable.
