Dumbert - If you don't understand that AMD Enronized the numbers with one-time "Restructuring and Special Charges" you are Dumber than I thought.

Try these questions:
1 What are the operating earnings of AMD on the Consolidated Statement of Operations?
2 What are the actual expenses in the "Restructuring and Special Charges" related to anything other than an operating loss?

Note: Show that you understand the diffierence between an expense and the amortization of good will, not an expense but a tax saver.

3 How are the "Restructuring and Special Charges" anything other than an Enronized entry to hide losses?

Discuss.

Use your Oxford English style, not your pidgin English style.
