While I have some sympathy for the good priests, they, too, were part of a corrupt organization, they knew it, and they had an obligation to not perpetuate it.

For those that knew, I agree.

And they've been doing what Clinton and his ilk do when caught in a compromising position. They covered up.

Again, agree. But there are incidences of those priests that attempted to come forward...and their careers as priests were ruined. One old pastor, turned in a priest for having sexual contact with a young boy. It became a big trial on Court TV in the mid 90s. By the time the defense attorney had finished with the old priest, he looked like a bumbling idiot who saw things that hadn't occurred. The younger priest was found not guilty. I watched the trial because I knew the accused priest...by the time the trial was over, I was convinced he was guilty and felt so badly for the old pastor. He had tried to right a wrong and ended up looking like a senile old man.

The whole institution can fold for all I care. Folding would be too good for them

It won't fold...it will come back stronger and hopefully, with married priests, and woman.
