IMO, the balance sheets in Japan are cleaner than ours when it comes to including stock options and other games. This is why I think the companies in Japan are a better value than here.

Am watching a few stocks in China, but am not comfortable with buying them outright at the moment. The companies in China seem to have different corporate structures than we do and profit seems to be erratic. Not that our are great. <g> Probably my first investment will be in a fund that has a person that travels to China and looks under the hood.
