D.C. Circuit denies Verizon request for deposit money ruling
rcrnews.com
Excerpt::
The FCC had asked the D.C. Circuit to "stay its mandate" requiring return
of the licenses to NextWave, but the appeals court refused. Verizon asked
the court to tell the FCC that its mandate also required the FCC to return its
deposit. Again the court refused.

NextWave keeps its licenses and the FCC keeps Verizon's money. Surreal.

Verizon won't let it rest there. They will look for other legal avenues to get their money back.
