Born-again Christians' rate was 27 percent. To make matters even more distressing for believers, atheists/agnostics had the lowest rate of divorce 21 percent

This is surprising as well. I'm not familiar with the Barna Group but assuming they play things up the middle, (which is assuming a lot, most of these "research" outfits are heavily funded by one party or another) these stats have got to have some groups backpeddling.

The Barna Research Group's national study showed that members of nondenominational churches divorce 34 percent of the time in contrast to 25 percent for the general population.

I mentioned this study to Goldy the other day. Didn't have a link though. It seems surprising. But then, if we were perfect, we wouldn't need a Savior now would we?
