You'd be surprised how willing I am to. I had a position in gold for a while in 2001. However, the problem with gold as I have mentioned before is that to be successful a counter-trend rally in an otherwise unbroken 20 year slide is required. This is certainly possible, as we saw last year, but I am not a market timer.

Gold did better than I expected in 2001, but the props are now being well and truly kicked out from under the yellow metal with the nascent economic recovery in the US and the higher interest rates it will bring.
