Your opinion here is too sophomoric to be considered relevant to any serious discussion of the topic. Your statement "But I'll bet it's true" hardly qualifies as thoughtful analysis. Indeed, the entire "suburban-is-so-much-better" argument is a half-truth at best, which has been my point all along ... not that one is necessarily better off at an inner-city school rather than a suburban school. The dropout rate is much lower at suburban schools as opposed to inner city schools; on the other hand, a student is more likely to lose his or her life at the hands of a mad teen sniper at a suburban school rather than an inner-city school.
