Scott, Thanks for your views. I merely would hope that the citizens of the U.S., if not the leadership, would reflect upon how we make ourselves dependent upon terrorist regimes and their sympathizers like many in the governing elite of Saudi Arabia, who can laugh at any suggestion that we are anything but pigs at the trough when they see the astonishing amount of steel, plastic and aluminum we push through traffic jams daily. When will the American public ever accept that our profligacy has gotten us into some very dangerous neighborhoods around the world and that our policies seem hellbent on making sure we continue to have awful and evil enemies like the al Qaeda lunatics. It's as if there's no ability to connect the dots in this country. As if history, logic and politics are all to be understood at an elementary school level of comprehension by the majority of the population. -Ray
