You can let a bias make you think the research is wrong. I have no reason to think it is." This statement makes perfect sense to me. Except for the part where say I have a bias or that I think this research is wrong.

It looks like categories are being mixed a bit here, as often happens in a rapid fire posting session. Segmentation is necessary. Something like this: Attacks on girls - 75% Attacks on boys - 25% Girl Attackers: Men - 97% ..Straight men - 98% ..Gay men - 2% Women - 3% ..Straight women - 1% ..Gay women - 99% Boy Attackers: Men - 95% ..Straight men - 3% ..Gay men - 97% Women - 5% ..Straight women - 99% ..Gay women - 1% Although this might fairly represent my guess on the actual percentages, I wonder if any of the cited studies breaks it down with real stats.
