Softie..

Telco's deal with old technologies so they can consolidate the industry much more easily. Survival of the fittest so to speak. Wireless companies are dealing with technology that is still 50 years off to being usable, so consolidation with this group has much slack. The networkers on the other hand are dealing with technology that is both usable and quickly changing. For this group to stop growing would almost be impossible. Whether through copper, coax, or fiber bandwith will be needed. The overcapacity thing is a joke. Five years from now bandwith will be as valuable as is the computer today.
