I also find it disappointing when a "real right wing extremist" shows up on the thread, you say he has interesting things to say about Jews in government and American support for Israel. I also find it disappointing that the most flapjack can do is ask if he likes the Reds (I guess referring to their owner). The conservatives on the other hand, when confronted by a real "right wing extremist", banned him from their thread.

The United States changed its support for Israel during the Nixon Administration. Now history clearly shows that Nixon, did not like Jews. To the best of my knowledge, the majority of jewish (votes and money) go toward Democrats - and have since FDR. Despite this, Republicans support Israel (even though the Republican Party is full of "oil men" - from Rockefeller to Bush 41 and 43 who would benefit $$$ from closer ties to Arabs). There are good reasons why the United States supports Israel, and I believe those reasons are based on National Security. I believe that it is in the National interest of the United States (and naturally Israel) that Israel survive as a nation.
