London, March 6 (Bloomberg) -- European stocks may fall amid concern growth isn't recovering as quickly as some investors had expected. Deutsche Lufthansa AG and Volkswagen AG could slide after their U.S.-listed shares declined.

BP Plc and other oil companies may climb after crude rose to its highest price in more than four months.

Futures on France's benchmark CAC 40 Index declined 17 points to 4576. The U.K. FT-SE 100 Index could open 20 points lower, while Germany's DAX Index may slide 10 points at the start of trading, according to IG Group Plc, a financial betting firm.

A report today is expected to show unemployment in Germany, Europe's largest economy, rose for a 14th month in February as companies waited for more signs of recovery before hiring workers, analysts said.
