Funny, I was talking to FGX yesterday and not a hint of anything happening, except to say a lot of Companies were checking them out. Anyway I like this deal, could be a bit better, and like you I think it's good for the junior sector. Now for MFL

<! I like to think you heard the purchase model first from you know who >

You had it Russ... on the noze.

<The question will be if it's worth just taking the tax free exchange and holding GLG now? >

I think so. GLG is highly leveraged to gold $300++. You know that Imperial project is standing buy. And they have Marigold coming on stream. Cerro San Pedro waiting in line. And they gonna get the goodies in Guatemala. I suspect that they will spend much more than $1 million a year over there. So we will find more Marlins.

And although we don't know what FGX has found in Nicaragua.. I think that this new ExploreCo will be worth quite a bit more than $1.50.

<I don't image there could be a competing bid somewhere?>

Maybe.. Who knows. Other companies have been looking at FGX.. Meridian, Gold Fields..

good call, Russ. I thought that the Glamis deal would not work because Randy would hold out for too high of a price.
