Chris, I have the ADX falling on both the Nasdaq Comp Daily and Weekly, which would suggest a non-trending period to me.

What do you use to decide it's trending?

Or were you kidding?

The downtrend has reversed for the Naz then, I gather? Is that official? Looks like one heck of a weak uptrend so far. Maybe they could offer the techs at 50% off. That might generate more interest. Or free 2-gig computers with every block of shares perhaps.

As for the overbought S&P, give it time -- at least to the end of the week. There are quite a few more suckers out there that have to be roped in. Stragglers, ya know. Everyone's gotta feel that the bear market is over, and then the bottom will fall out once again. There's still some fleecing to be done. A busy, busy week. Just step into the upper-mountain sheep pen right over there, and they'll lead you nicely back down in a few days.
