Invitation to the Toronto Prospectors and Developers Convention

Please join NovaGold Resources at the Prospectors and Developers
Association Convention, March 10th to 13th at the Metro Toronto Convention
Centre in Toronto, Ontario.

The convention is the premier event for the global mineral industry and
last year attracted more than 6,700 attendees and over 350 exhibiting
companies from 65 countries. Admission to the 2002 Investors Exchange is
Free.

NovaGold's Senior Management Team -- Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse, President &
CEO, Greg Johnson, Vice President Corporate Development, and Tony Hayes,
Investor Relations -- will be at Booth 2703 in the Investors Exchange
throughout the show. Core samples and maps from the company's Donlin Creek
Project will be featured on display at the Conference's Core Shack.
