Charles, a lot has happened in the hi-tech world over the past several years, much of it lucrative, fun and exciting, some of it shocking and repellant. But I have to say that today's public apology by the DOJ in the MSFT case ranks as the most amazing, and disgusting, thing I've seen.

I think we can forget about the concept of ethics in government. Maybe it was a fantasy all along.
