Our Verizon service here is godawful. I am currently in the market for a new wireless provider. Among those available here are Sprint PCS, ATT Wireless, Voicestream Wireless, and Cingular.

I need a phone (two actually) with lots of minutes, nationwide long distance and roaming included at reasonable rate, good coverage, ability to make calls from remote areas during driving trips if car breaks down, and decent call quality and coverage.

Anyone have tips on who to use or avoid? TIA

Verizon = POS

I have a pager account with them. Something like $8.00/month for paging and voice mail. Last month's bill was late, due to my being out of the country. The fuggers cut of my account.

Go figure. For $8.00, on an account that has always been paid up, sometimes a month or three in advance.
