Articles go back a long ways.
Some are good, but muddled with "UFO" type nonsense, like this one concerned with "principles of constitutional republican government"

I haven't yet found a scholarly essay but there are some showing pieces of legislation here and there and the trend towards all-powerful central government, and trend towards secrecy behind it.
