It just seemed to me that there was a fair amount of buying that coincided with the beginning of the campaign...I don't know that there is a direct correlation, but it seems people look for an outlet to show support when attacked.

Sort of in your face, GFY buying...<gg>

it still seems that the public thinks this is a videogame war where nobody on our side gets hurt.

I think most people understand the seriousness of this war. Everywhere I look there are reminders of that day, and how it changed the focus of many peoples lives. Last night on the CBS news the ending was dedicated to those who were recently killed. Dan Rather ended the news in tears.

IMO anyone who has forgotten why we are fighting this war effort should look again at both of these video accounts of 9/11.
