wanna_bmw,

I have read Pravin's posts for years.

I value most of them.

Other than that I share the impressions of Andreas, Ali Chen and TWY about your intentions.

You want an opinion? You have mine.

Please do not provoke me into a polemic. This will be the only post of yours I will ever answer.

Nick

>Pravin just doesn't like to be told different opinions, and that's too bad. Especially since there are 10x more AMD positive posts than there are Intel positive posts, as well as 10x more Intel negative posts, than AMD negative posts here.<

What I do not understand is the hostility towards the opinion that Intel does not have a Yamhill project (or perhaps that Yamhill is so immature that it would not be ready for Prescott). The best thing that could happen to AMD is if Intel ignores x86-64 completely. Just about the time that the AU Pte Ltd. fab was beginning to ramp, software taking advantage of x86-64 would be rolling out in significant volume. By the time Intel takes IA64 to the desktop in 2007, the game will be over.

wbmw,

I appreciate your posts, more so when you exhibit independent thought, I get a little irritated when you sound like Intel PR machine.

Pravin has his opinion, to which he is entitled to. For the record, I myself am not 100% if Intel is sponsoring some of the posters or 100% sure that Intel is not sponsoring them. I go back and forth, and since I myself am not sure, I am sure not going to denounce him for saying what he did.

So, don't take Pravin post as an insult, and stick around.

Joe

Wanna, Re : "If this thread really liked to believe it was objective, then I wouldn't get all the garbage dumped on me that I do every day without a single person stepping up to defend me."

I think you get a lot more sh*t than you deserve on this thread. There are many on this thread, who just hate everything Intel. Pravin has openly admitted that he hates Intel. It's hard for me to take his views and opinions too seriously after that admission as an Investor.

I am very impressed with your ability to handle all the abuse you get on this thread. I did not think Watsonyouth had any business to name-call you and ask for information from you that is personal (wonder how he would respond, if he was asked to reveal his own identity).

There is enough abuse and nastiness on the Intel thread too. But, this thread prides itself as a 'clean, civilized' thread and its double standard is ironical and dissappointing.

I hope you keep posting on this thread (And I sure do hope Dan3 keeps posting on Intel thread despite the abuse he gets there). I think you both express opposing view in a respectful way. A thread with no respect for opposing view is not much use for investor, IMHO.

Maui.

while I agree in general I can not help myself but wonder how many times you have stepped in on intel thread in order to defend an opposing view. I will even go a bit farther by asking how many times you either agreed, encouraged or participated in the attacks.
While emotions are flying high here on occasions it seems to me that the posts here are indeed far more civilized than on intel thread.
