apples and oranges? chicken and the egg? I can't follow between your hype and your references. In one post you say eveyrone is already GSM1x and the next your trying to enlighten me on technology?

I have a farily good idea what all this is, trouble is you don't. And you mix metaphors on a pretty routine basis. I have been trying to point you back to references in which perhaps you would understand the differnces.

Simple point... GSM1x is an overlay ontop of existing GSM networks. NOBODY has annouced this and NOBODY is planning this publically now. dual mode handsets can be used on this....or not.

dual mode handsets are purley a choice of the carrier allowing a user to log into their network with either GSM or CDMA using a common RUIM card and costs the carrier nothing in development or infrastrucutre investment.

confusing the two and trying to imply a mix of both does nobody any good.

GSM has no 1.25 Mhz channelization. why imply that when you don;t understand it?
