To me this is typical press camp-following.

eBay didn't have a cycle. Probably never will. Great model. I obviously agree; eBay saved my butt during the bear market.

But, for example, is there any company on the Web (old-economy or new) that won't advertise (read "link") on Yahoo perpetually? Of course not.

In California a very successful supermarket chain, Albertsons, has begun filling the Webvan void. The names will change. The eyeballs will not.

I think Yahoo is far-better leveraged to the recovery than is eBay. Not selling eBay, though.
